Duquette is one magnificent damask. Woven in Italy, the gusty paisley or swirl or abstract fleur de lys takes on a large repeat of 39.5″ (over one yard). The substantial weight in soft texture of silk enables it to be equally adequate for both drapery and upholstery.
The pattern is both refined and slightly “rusty” which gives this traditional pattern a energetic dynamic.
