Sunil is hand made crewel. 100% wool dyed into several colors, then hand embroidered over good weight 100% cotton duck.

Creeping vines and fanciful fauna is a forever loved subject for crewels.

“BAY” is a soothing BLUE with a tint of green undertone.

Embroidery is in white and grey. Very calming. This type of hand embroidery, originated in India, in the 17th century was brought back to Europe by the British and became instantly popular in both Europe and America.
