So sophisticated…The most beautiful moire we’ve ever seen… “Ming” colorway is incredibly sophisticated, literally a step back to a Parisian salon in the 1920s.
The word “moiré” comes from the French word moirer, which means “to water.
Moiré is often used to decorate traditional spaces, such as 1920s center hall colonials, Victorian homes, and vintage New York apartments. In the 17th and 18th centuries, moiré was highly popular in France, especially in Lyon, where it was considered a “magic” fabric. Moiré was used to adorn royal interiors and to make luxurious clothing for men and women. It remains popular today, for Moiré can also add a touch of sophistication to modern interior.
Subtle color will lend an understated elegance. PLease note the extra width of 62″. It drapes like a smooth waterfall…
