There is something so innocent in this “English Spring”. Clarence House’s iconic designer Kazumi Yoshida brought his Japanese-European sensibility to lots of their designs.
You can see in this print: both a hybrid of East & West but also a slightly subtle time capsule, the smaller scale and palette somehow assembles English prints during Meiji Era (October 23, 1868, to July 30, 1912).
Indeed English cottages were much smaller back then by modern standard.
Many kinds of rose, with thorns, signature of old world roses.
Many kinds of tulips, ready to be cut for vases.
Suitable for both drapery & upholstery. This print has such a heart-warming quality from a slower and quieter century.
