Spectacular ikat print on best base close of linen & cotton!
Clarence House’s Grand Pamir is unlike anything else we’ve seen—-it is, indeed, grander than all the others!
First the scale is immense. As window drapery, you can use it for those sky high ceilings to command attention, but simply use half a yard for a smaller urban apartment to “expand” the space by creating a focal point.2nd the weight is grand. The base linen & cotton blend most be specially created for this design: weighty, silky and very durable. As upholstery, Grand Pamir surely will last decades. At last, the palette! The colors are not only so saturated but also with high contrast. When most ikat prints stay with more similar colors within one print, Grand Pamir purposely use high contrast combo. Each colorway has a exuberant festival display and almost different “personality”!
Scarlet & Green: Mediterranean spring in Sicily.
Indigo Blue Fern Green: Green island over blue sea in Greece.
Rust & Fern : autumn harvest, or produce and spices at a Morocco market
Rani Pink & Emerald Green: roses and jewellery in Kannauj, India’s perfume capital
Rouge & Indigo Blue : The blue mosaic and red saffron of Uzbekistan.
