Similar ikat are everywhere on the market, but Accademy’s quality evokes respect like no others.

The fiber are durable and hardy, yet pleasant. 75% viscose and 25% polyester give it a velvet like texture.

The railroaded pattern means you can use it in both directions.

The weight is incredible at 1.75lb/yard. That is like a very heavy velvet, almost reminds one of a Persian rug.

The palette is a robust yet earthy combination of terra cotta red orange against deeper blue-purple, on a neutral beige/tan background.

Heavy duty upholstery.

Made in Italy.
