Cervino, an elaborate damask woven in Italy, is jacquard at its best. In photos it may look just like another damask flooding the internet, but once you touch its texture and weight, you’ll see it is a totally different thing.

Most damask utilizes 2 types of yarn while Cervino incorporates 6 types of yarns to achieve much more detailed and charming forms and shapes.  The timeless nature of the Renaissance design is something ought to be tasted for everyone.

Most similar damasks in retail store or internet, are made of polyester and weigh about 0.5lb/yard if you are lucky.

Scalamandre’ Cervino is a whopping 1.6lb/yard which is nearly 3 times the weight of retail stuff! The cotton and viscose blend is soft, silky, radiant, pliable and pleasant.  It will easily last 3 times of retail damask, thus making it “affordable”.
