Brunschwig & Fils’ prints often has such timeless quality that can be from many time period and for any age group.  Fawkes is one of them. Printed in Italy, 12 screens plays symphony on a silky cotton satin. Several shades of blue, aqua, turquoise, several shades of green, chartreuse yellow, celery with the intermission of white, cream and palest grey, the melody is so  breezy yet with deep feelings.

The nuanced paisley is rendered in an informal and playful way. The lines are almost like a child’s doodle, but the execution of tiny areas is meticulous. At about 0.3lb/yard, it is “multipurpose” for both drapery and upholstery.
