Made by an artisanal Italian producer, a traditional dying technique was used to color Nuvola. The fabric was laid in a dye bath for several hours and then placed on drying tables so that the water slowly drips out. During finishing, the fabric is stabilized and crinkled. Because of the use of metal yarns, the crinkling is permanent.
