Description
Clyfford Stripe is stripes at its finest. Once you touch, you’ll see not all stripes are created equal.
Cotton and silk blend offers both durability and decorative beauty.
At 1.1lb/yard, the incredible weight means 2-3 times the fiber is used than most seemingly “similar” woven goods!
Much like different shades of ocean water, the blue stripes come in several hues, popping out of the ivory white cotton base. The raised silk stripes are almost velvety.
Clyfford might be named after the American artist Clyfford Still, whose signature works uses strong, simple and abstract color contrast to express inner feelings. Clyfford Still was one of the leading figures in the first generation of Abstract Expressionists, who developed a new, powerful approach to painting in the years immediately following World War II, as his shift from representational to abstract painting.
