DESIGN INSPIRATION
This classic chevron design is interpreted as an ikat weave, with two
colors forming the feathered motif. The soft cotton warp is dyed by
hand in the bold flamestitch pattern, and then hand woven with ivory
cotton yarns for a softened, authentic look that has a relaxed and
casual vibe. Variations in color and patterning are part of the
handmade process, and add to its artisanal appearance.
The design adds an accent of pattern to a modern room,
and layers beautifully with a variety of patterns and textures
in a traditional setting.
