Santo Stefano di Sessanio was founded in AD 1239. It was under the Medici political and economical control because of the importance of its livestock, around 100,000 sheep. Lana carfagna, the local quality of wool was exported throughout Europe for centuries. This linen and wool damask is available in 8 colors and can be perfectly coordinated with Rocca Calascio. It is suitable for drapery use and light duty upholstery projects. Santo Stefano is also reversible and flame retardant.
