“Caserta Lampas blends silk, wool, linen and viscose to achieve the impossible: durability and softness, practicality and luxury. The classic Renaissance botany icons, pomegranate for vigor and lily for purity, are rendered in an unusual robust and almost masculine silhouette: strong, large, robust and decisive.
The bright yellow gold added to the branches give such vibrancy that the whole picture pops out.
Caserta Lampas is a master piece that will liven up any space, traditional, transitional or modern. Although Scalamandre’s official SUGGESTED USE is “”LIGHT DUTY MULTIPURPOSE””, our experienced judgement is it is quite durable enough for medium duty upholstery.”

A lampas is a traditional weaving technique wherein weft yarns “draw” on the fabric’s surface with minimal influence from the warp. These weft floats offer crisp color and subtle texture in the pattern’s finely rendered stems, leaves and blossoms. Antonella Lampas offers classic luxury and perennial style as statement drapes or light upholstery.
