| Angel of Longevity is referring to an unique decoration element in Chinese art and craft. Being the only surviving pictographic language (all other living languages on earth right now are phonetic), Chinese writing is both a language and several thousand pictures. Some charactors with auspicious meaning have been stylized into decorative motif that frequent all forms of art, calligraphy, furniture, textile, brickwork, porcelain, painting and sculpture. 壽（longevity, “thoe”) is one of the most popular.
