MARIVAUX SAFRAN is neoclassism at its peak. Highly decorative but also so natural. The lush rose bouquet overflowing from basket, is decorated with laurel leaves and silk ribbon, both a symble of nobility and victory. Safran means saffron—a delicous hue of burnt orange meets red and some gold. An unsual color but just breathtaking. MSRP $690/yard a few years back. Woven in France by one of the oldest mills, its decication to quality is obvious upon first look.
