Description
Ciudad Madero, a silk rug like nothing we have seen, and we have seen a lot of fine rugs! For one ,the designer decided to put all the drama in the background instead of the front. For two, the array of rainbows is not beautiful but mersmerizing. Like a piece of true magic: all the ruby red, periwinkle blue, magenta, saffire blue, bright gold, rich orange and coral pink, and deep rose, and emerald green, and olive green. For three the sureal iridescency: the same fiber literally look like a story told by three or four or five personlities. For four, the front large damask motif: it is both modern and classic, changing from bright white or silver, to grey, to dark grey and even an olive undertoen. At last, the silk, the silk. Silk fiber, being finer than any other fiber, triples the pixel and thriples the sturation of each color. Soft under your feet and fingers, yet the weight and durability is so obvious. This rug almost asks one not to get any furniture but simply lie on it as a sofa, chair, and even bed. This is rug that should be a museum collection.
