Stunning is an understatement for Paradiso warp print. This silk is a piece of jewel. See how it shines in front of light.
The design is initially printed on very fine threads. This process requires extreme
manual dexterity, because the designs must not overlap. The slightly blurry
appearance that gives a relaxed elegance to the pattern repeat, despite its
floral intensity, is caused by warping the threads during weaving. The high
density of the warp creates the incredibly silky and compact feel of
the cloth.
Something unique: the print has a unique “water color” or “warp” effect, instead of “uniformly sharp and defined” edge. This unique technique makes the print just harder to produce and more expensive.
Our client’s chair, with its beautifully wooden frame, has been given a breathtaking transformation using Scalamandre Paradiso Turquoise Blue Bird Tropical Floral Silk Warp Print from France.
