Located in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland, Kilfane Glen and Waterfall is a pristine example of a romantic era garden dating from the 1790s

Kilfane, a jacquard in silk, linen and cotton from Italy, is a reproduction of historical damask. The large scale flowers and acanthus foliages are much in the Rococo exuberance. The flowers and foliages are formed into two Yang stripes and then two Yin stripes. The Yang stripes are pronounced and slightly raised while the Yin stripe is subtle and watermark like.
These “flowing” stripes perhaps are paying homage to the waterfall in the garden.
The two tones of colors also play Yin and Yang on the face and back of the damask cause it is reversible.
Kilfane offers both durability and silky texture. The translucent color will illuminate any space.”
