Palash is one of the prettiest fabric we have ever seen. Palampore means tree of life, a traditional Hindi textile pattern here is rendered with Chinoiserie fauna of Tree Peony. Large colorful bird of paradise is perched on the tree, among large blossoms. The big curve of branches forms a "hug" shape which is also reminiscent of Chinese ginger jar. Hundreds of details within this strong architectural structure gives this pattern a much nature-like duality: feminine and masculine, delicate and strong, gentle and resilient.
