Made in Hong Kong. 100% silk jacquard with satin finish.
Blakely was a high end textile/tailor store since 1890.
Bamboo & Winter plum, both are revered in Chinese culture for being resilient to cold and harsh winter.
Besides its beauty, the virtues symbolized by bamboo and winter plum are also a blessing to its owner.
Bamboo also represents humility because its hollow interior means never "full of yourself" or "too content".
Winter blossom also represents optimism because after its blossoms in coldest month, other spring flowers will follow eventually.
A piece of history in your hand. This kind of silk jacquard with light weight is one of my favorite weaves but rarely in production now.
It's buttery soft but not prone to pull as modern silk satin.
It's Lighter weight but not sheer. A perfect balance between glamor and functionality. Whole piece weighs7.6oz (215grams).
Use it for a dress, shirt, pajama or lining.
Condition: pristine. No fading or any issues. Brand new.

We offer $8.99 per order flat shipping rate for orders within United States. Shipping is by UPS ground or equivalent. We strive to ship your order in 1 business day. Often same day. Within 48 States, it takes 2-4 business days for 99% of the parcels. UPS or USPS tracking is emailed to each order.
Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
