S.S. Seacloud can be from Japan or Austria, America, Argentina or any country, but the gilded personality is definitely from the 1920s and 1930s. Simple, robust and glistering, the tropical foliage and blossoms are woven in a sophisticated blend of silk, linen, cotton, rayon and viscose. Very heavy and substantial at about 1lb/yard.
S.S. Sea Cloud probably refers to a historic four-masted barque, a sailing cruise ship owned by Sea Cloud Cruises and previously a private yacht and a weather ship during World War II. Later it was converted into a luxury charter yacht.
MSRP $440/yard a few years ago. Such quality of jacquard retails for about $600/yard now.

Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
