Sunil is hand made crewel from India. 100% wool dyed into several colors, then hand embroidered over good weight 100% cotton duck.
Creeping vines and fanciful fauna is a forever loved subject for crewel.
"Bay" is a soothing blue with a tint of lavender undertone. A translucent and serene color that reminds one of aquatic bay in the north.
Embroidery is in white and grey wool. Very calming. This type of hand embroidery, originated in India, in the 17th century was brought back to Europe by the British and became instantly popular in both Europe and America.

Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
