Slightly whimsical yet refined. "Ting" means 亭, an erected and decorative architecture in traditional Chinese garden. A space to rest and savory the beauty of the outdoors, but also to study, talk and have tea or even a meal. Europeans were infatuated with its indoor-outdoor functionality since 18th century. Ancient Chinese also built Ting as public space where people could shelter from bad weather or rest their feet. Pavilion (亭) shares the same pronunciation as "rest" or "pause" (停). 100% silk taffeta with print. Fully reversible.Great weight & hand. About 0.5lb per yard. Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric
Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
