Fonthill printed this meticulous cotton in France, inspired by ancient Persian art. The fine intricacy and sophisticated palette are apparently by the best textile designer and most skillful artisan. Stylized flowers from a classic Ottoman garden are featured within the boundary of lace, foliage and feathers. Do you see part of the garden ground is covered by elaborate tiles?
12 screens of colors: crimson red, rose pink, light pink; 4 shades of green; 4 shades of mustard gold,light brown and tan.
Although the official colorway is "sand", the background is more like warm mustard gold.
Red and pink being the other most prominent color.
The cotton is quite substantial at about 0.5lb/yard. From drapery to medium-heavy duty upholstery, Persan will last for decades.

Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
