This silk jacquard is first woven and then heat-press technique is used to create the permanent pleats. Incredibly sophisticated and costly to create.
The Pleats add texture as well shimmer to the silk. The pattern of floras acquires the look of 3: print, woven damask and "ridged" ottoman.
When made into drapery, this silk will be display different colors, textures and patterns... Simply magical.
The highly costly blend of 57% Silk 5% Cotton 5% Acrylic 33% Linen gives it the full body of matelassé which is mostly heavy 100% cotton, yet maintains the softness and floating charm of silk.

Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
