Positano, a historical town for vacation, forms a colorful splash on the Amalfi Coast, bringing together ramshackle buildings and historical sites that are bursting with Mediterranean style.
The name 'Positano' originates from an ancient legend. Long ago, on the shores of Italy, a Turkish boat had become beached and the crew didn't know what to do. On board the ship was a painting of the Virgin Mary that whispered to the captain “posa”, meaning 'set me down'.
Indeed this stripe captures both the glister of Mediterranean sea and offers a "settled into peace" mood. Silk and cotton jacquard comes in three types of textures: smooth satin, fine horizontal "ladder", matte in smoke.

Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
