Lovelace introduces an interesting interpretation of classic Renaissance damask. Instead of plain weave silk taffeta, the base is a heavier silk faille with the signature fuller body.

Instead of a jacquard, it is an embroidery. Intricate embroidery added to the silk base like a lace. The simple color combination is soothing and gentle. The embroidery is slightly raised with high quality thick yarn, adding an iridescent shimmer as well as more weight.

It is very rare to see embroidery over silk faille with such heavy weight.
