Lucia, a classic Gaufre damask, is woven by one of the best Italian mills. Gaufre damask is a type of damask fabric characterized by its subtle, raised, or textured background, often described as resembling a waffle or having a waffle-like pattern. It's a specific variation of damask, a woven fabric known for its reversible patterns and use of both warp and weft threads.
The term "gaufre" is French for waffle, which is used to describe the texture of this specific damask variation. The "gold"on this 100% silk is like real 24k gold which is one of Nature's most beautiful colors. It will add that noble glow to any space like no other textile. As Designer Corey Damen Jenkins said "I always try to sell client on yellow, especially the ones who live where winter can be gray. "

Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
