Iridescent silk with satin stripe, then floral garland is embroidered into the base silk. Highly iridescent. The base cloth, the satin stripe, the embroidery all capture lights in different ways. Maya has a flowy texture and gorgeous sheen. The base cloth has a smooth texture between silk dupioni and silk taffeta. Please note the occasional slub is part of the beauty of silk.
MSRP about $150. Now similar silk embroidery retails for about $200/yard.
Color: official name is "Bisque" but the actual silk is warmer. More like a soft gold-bronze with a small tint of brick red. Overall it reads warm, not cold. The satin stripe is a deeper and brighter gold that really shines!

Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
