Natchez XVIII Century, a reproduction of an 18th century Italian design, this large-scale lampas with a pineapple was produced for Stanton Hall, a palatial mansion constructed in the 1850s, in Natchez, Mississippi. This pattern was revived by Scalamandre in 1962. Pineapple, the symbol of hospitality and luxury, also has such a playful side of it.
If you go to Huntington Gardens in Los Angeles, California, you can see how it enlivens the main library. Magnetic yet natural. Classic and timeless. Designer: Scalamandre Name: "Natchez XVIII Century", sku: 1493MM-4 Approx Width: 55" , VR: 28"(71.12 cm), HR: 26" (66.04 cm) 100% Silk Lampas Weight: 0.6 lb/Y. It "crunches" between your fingers but the substance is butter soft. Color: "Ripe Peach and Cream" is the official name given by Scalamandre. Sample Shipping
Shipping for samples is $4.99 within the United States. Samples are mailed with USPS Ground in a manila envelope. This allows us to offer tracking for all your sample orders, which customers have found very helpful. We used to offer a stamp option for samples shipping but we found that most customers wanted tracking, so we eliminated that as an option.
What if I want my samples expedited? We can offer USPS Priority mail which is 2-4 business days. Just check out for "Standard" shipping. It's the shipping that costs $8.49 and we will get that to you right away.

Fabric orders, except special and custom orders, can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange, minus a 20% restocking fee. No questions asked. Buyer pays return shipping. Please be advised return shipping cost more than $8.99. (Most of our parcels cost $30-100 to ship & we are actually paying part of the shipping when you purchase fabrics here.) Merchandise must be in original condition (uncut, clean & no damage).
