Venetian Damask is based on historical textile design from Venice, Italy. The natural and elaborate flow of Mediterranean plants, the gilded color, the rhythmic flow of the pattern, all reached the perfection of design. Pomegranate, acanthus, rose and vine, all has spiritual symbolism. Iridescent. This printed historical damask is surprisingly light hearted and versatile.

Heavy and durable. Suitable for both drapery & upholstery, this cotton print has the effect of a woven damask. It is both down to earth and highly classy.

MSRP $170/yard a few years ago. Now similar print with such quality from UK retails for $250+/yard.
